Head in the clouds

Just like that and we've hit 365/365. Felicia, it’s time to talk about cliches and the ever famous new year’s resolutions.

Aside from numerous holiday banquets and overflowing champagne, December is a time for reflection and remembering the year that was. Looking back, I have to say my 2018 has been one hell of an exciting year. I am blessed  to be able to look back with a happy heart.


Believe me as I say it’s been a year for personal growth and experiences. Turning 23 came with plot twists I wouldn’t have imagined. Like needing a major operation for my wisdom teeth or making it to the dean’s list in my last year of university or landing a job on my own and finally being capable of treating my family to a decent weekend dinner.



Catching up with loved ones (1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6), quality time with Marc (1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8 | 9 | 10) and making it to the 6th year (1)  (cue in stick with you by pussycat dolls), trying my luck with boxing, and getting consumed by the 10-step korean skincare. These may not be as grand as making it to page 6, getting my own apartment, or moving abroad, but it’s the tiny little in-between that make my life so endearing. They make my heart so full.

My new year’s resolution? The ever empowering self-preservation. If it’s anything I’ve learned from the year that was, it’s to live life at my own pace. It will all fall into place in His right time. All in His right time.
